General Manager
A native Floridian, Jamie Holmes has managed hotels and resorts from
Boston and Newport to the Virgin Islands.
Jamie joined the Nisbet family in July 2008. He enjoys getting to know guests
and will personally see to it that your Nevis vacation is an enjoyable one.
In his leisure, Mr. Holmes enjoys cycling, sailing and photography – perfect for
exploring Nevis! |

Executive Director of Guest Services
Steve Tyson is the problem solver for most of the guests. He has a natural
ability to talk with guests and a wonderfully calm demeanor.
As a former police officer, he is able to use his connections to track down
luggage, flights and any number of things.
Steve is also in charge of Housekeeping and keeps that department running
like a top ... along with Velma Jones. Steve has been with Nisbet Plantation
since October 1999 and is an integral part of our team. |

Antonio F. Piani, II, our Executive Chef, hails from the Philippines and brings
a world of experience to Nisbet Plantation.
Chef Tony has an international flair and delivers world-class meals to our
happy patrons.

Dining Room Maitre'D
There is not a guest who stays or dines at Nisbet
who does not feel a relationship with Patterson Fleming
when they leave.
His genuine enthusiasm, warmth, professionalism and memory for a
face make him an absolute superstar hotel employee. During his
tenure at the hotel, he has had the most significant and positive
impact on guest satisfaction in the history of the hotel.
Patterson was recognized for his hard work and dedication as the
recipient of the 2001 Employee of the Year Award. |
He is also our Master Crab Catcher, hunting crabs by flashlight at night, to delight our guests with our crab
races on the beach.The profits buy books and supplies for our local elementary schools.
Not only is his tie collection one of the finest in the Caribbean, he is the perfect representation to guests and
visitors of the local Nevisian culture of genuine care, kindness and gracious hospitality. |

Ms. Roslyn Jeffers, a long-time member of our Wait Staff, was voted
"Caribbean Employee of the Year" by the Caribbean Hotel Association and
American Express in 1999.
Roslyn is immensely popular with our guests and consistently gets
mentioned in guest satisfaction surveys. |
